In the book “Queen of Shadows” (part of the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas), we’re allowed to witness an intense conversation between Rowan and Lorcan. It’s full of hidden details and emotions and speaks volumes about their relationship, which has been going on for literal centuries already. Apart from all those hints between the lines, there’s something Lorcan says that caused many rumors inside the fandom:
“Is that what you thought of us? All those years that we worked together, killed men and bedded females together? I never heard you complain.”
As a huge Throne of Glass lover and the biggest Rowan stan you may find (ROWAN EMPIRE!), this chapter has sparked my interest – and certain ideas. So I made it a mission to retell some of their possible adventures.
My fanfiction focuses on their relationship during the mentioned times through several short-stories: spice heavy, but also exploring fights, battles and angry bromance conversations. Enjoy this little escape and follow our two most powerful territorial fae bastards for a little while.
